A BRIGHTER PALMDALE STARTS WITH US

Raycine Ector is running for Palmdale City Council District 5 to bring residents closer to City Hall and focus on the issues that affect our everyday lives—from safer neighborhoods and responsible growth to opportunities for our youth, families, and local businesses. People. Purpose. Progress.

Safe & Connected Neighborhoods

Every family deserves to feel safe where they live, work, learn, and play. I support community-centered public safety, safer streets and crosswalks, improved lighting, responsible traffic enforcement, and stronger partnerships between residents, businesses, schools, and public safety agencies.

Affordable, Thriving Communities

Palmdale families are feeling the pressure of rising costs. I will advocate for responsible development, housing opportunities for working families, support for local businesses, quality jobs, and careful oversight of city spending. Growth should benefit the people who already call Palmdale home.

Opportunities for Our Youth & Families

Our young people deserve investment, not just promises. I will work to expand access to youth programs, recreation, mentorship, educational opportunities, childcare resources, and safe spaces where children and teenagers can learn, grow, and succeed.

LEADERSHIP ROOTED IN COMMUNITY

Raycine Ector is a longtime community advocate, organizer, mother, and candidate for Palmdale City Council District 5. Her years of community leadership in the Antelope Valley have centered on public safety, government accountability, civil rights, youth and family advocacy, and ensuring residents have a meaningful voice in decisions that affect their neighborhoods.

Raycine believes City Hall should be accessible, transparent, and responsive. She is running to bring community experience directly to the City Council and to make sure District 5 receives the attention, investment, and representation it deserves.
